Tahmoor is a town in the Macarthur Region of New South Wales, in the Wollondilly
Shire, located approximately 80 kilometres southwest of Sydney’s CBD, close to Camden and Campbelltown.

Tahmoor, originally named Myrtle Creek, was a farming area on the Great Southern Road, later named the Hume Highway. When the new Main Southern Railway line opened in 1919, it included a railway station named Tahmoor.

The suburbs of the Wollondilly region – including Picton, Tahmoor, Thirlmere, Appin, Bargo and Warragamba – retain the tranquillity of small country towns with the convenience of all the modern amenities and a thriving and growing community.
